Meraki Cafe Camping and Cakes in Kasol offers a laid-back, hillside café experience that pairs well with the area's slow, contemplative pace. Nestled near Jai Nala Shani Mandir, reaching it involves a short, scenic hike, which preps you for the tranquil setting where nature and good food meet.

This café is a favorite among travelers and locals who want to pause their adventures for a restful meal or dessert, especially in the mornings or early afternoons when the sunlight filters softly through the treetops. The vibe here leans towards a cozy, bohemian style, with a warm, welcoming touch from the chef couple who run the place, creating a sense that you’re stepping into a homey refuge rather than a commercial spot.

The menu reflects a curious mix of local and international influences—think fresh morning staples like Ras Omelette alongside more eclectic offerings like Pork Burger Sliders, Thai Curry with Chicken, and Veg Gujarati Thali. Dessert lovers will find plenty to linger over, from chocolate brownie hashes and Goan Bibinka to cheesecake and mousse, all served with care and an evident passion for quality.

Visitors often mention the slightly slower service pace, which seems less a drawback and more part of the unhurried rhythm encouraged here. It’s a place where staying a while feels natural—sipping on a hot Kahwa or Jasmine Tea, alongside a Granola Parfait or a crispy chicken burger, while soaking in the relaxed open-air environment and patchy shade.

Meraki Cafe suits those who appreciate thoughtful food amidst rustic vibes, ideal for quiet breakfasts after morning walks by the Parvati River or for settling into a casual afternoon break during a trek around Kasol and Katagla. The surroundings and the hospitality combine to make it a spot where the journey there is part of the experience, inviting you to slow down, taste intentionally, and feel at ease.

The best place on earth to eat during a staycation in Kasol/Katagla. Totally worth the trek just to have their Ras Omelette, simply the best. I felt the most peaceful at this place, the chefs were so kind and generous, made us all feel at home. 100% must go and im going back to Himachal just for this cafe.

Meraki Cafe in Kasol offers a lovely, relaxing ambiance that instantly transports you to a state of tranquility. The food is exceptional, made with quality ingredients that truly elevate the dining experience. While the waiting time for orders can be a bit long, it's well worth it once you take that first delicious bite. Don't miss out on their heavenly brownie and scrumptious pizza – absolute must-tries! Overall, a gem of a place where every visit promises a delightful culinary journey.

I was in Katagla, Kasol, and went for a morning walk along the Parvati River when I stumbled upon this hippie style cafe. We went in just for breakfast, but ended up staying till lunch. The peaceful vibe wouldn’t let us leave. We ordered quite a few things, and everything was amazing, especially the desserts. The cafe is run by a chef couple along with their assistant, and you can really feel the love they put into the food. If you’re in Katagla, do visit this place you won’t regret it.

A cafe i was looking forward to, for quite long time, am really happy the food they served was delicious and wholesome. Crispy chicken burger was yumm , filling and worth every penny, piza was good, so was the mushroop soup. Kudos to the lovely management. The path is a bit tricky yet totally recommended.

One of the cooleest cafes/ cave I've lived in so far. The couple who owns it are the sweetest! Both are great chefs and you are in for a treat here! Distant from crowdly noises, calm and relaxing hide out. Roof top is a picturesque spot. Must try: baked yogurt, all pizzas and Alfredo pasta. Would've loved to stay longer!!

Lovely place. Very peaceful and quite. Very nice setup, perfect place to just sit and chill. Coming to food, Menu at Meraki is never ending. They have a lot of things on the menu from south to north, so you have a great options to choose from and the best part is dessert. Freshly prepared, mouth watering and very comforting. So do visit this place if you wanted to just sit and some quality time with your friends, away from the cafés blasting music in Kasol. If you are coming by the bus, Get down at Shani Mandir. The cafe is a 10 min walk from the main Road(you can find sign showing direction to cafe)
